An open-air community mall with the concept “Riverside Eatery, Urban Oasis, Art & Culture Market”, Tha Maharaj is known for trendy local snacks, cafes, and restaurants. There is a rooftop area for visitors to watch the sunset on the 3rd and 4th floor, as well as lots of cool street art, trees, and photography spots for that perfect Instagram post.

Wang Lang Market/ ตลาดวังหลัง

Wang Lang, one of Bangkok’s famous “cheap bargains” markets is the opposite of Tha Maharaj across the Chao Phraya River. This market is very popular amongst local teenagers and working-aged Thais in the Thonburi district. Expect to find a collection of first hand and second-hand clothes, shoes in different styles and sizes, and bags that are good quality and also super cheap. Do not forget to sample some of the street food here, and even the restaurants are known for their great taste and friendly prices!
