Another night market in Bangkok impresses

We visited the Rod Fai Night Market Srinakarin for the first time last week for the Swap Meet and really enjoyed ourselves! For Sukhumvit-dwellers, the location isn’t the most ideal, but once we made it there after suffering through Saturday Traffic with thousands of other people, we felt that it was totally worth it! This market offers a huge selection of local street foods of all sorts. There are many shops, like hundreds, selling just about anything you can think of. There is also a huge selection of swap meet type items and a lot of second hand stores and antique shops.

There is a definite local night life scene with many bars and each one of them seemed to have their own live music in full swing. Additionally, there are 2 main stage areas where the key concerts of the evening take place.

After having been to Chatuchak and the Ratchada night market on many occasions, the Rod Fai market is another great option for sure.
