Events This Weekend (June 1-2)

Hello Bangkok! Here we are almost at the first half of 2019, with June right around the corner. How fast time flies! This week, BangkokHaps is happy to present you five events happening this weekend, between June 1 and 2.

Havana Social Pool Party (Saturday, June 1)

Collaborating with Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit, Bangkok’s famous Cuban speakeasy ‘Havana Social’ invites all latin-music and dancer lovers to join their ultra-fab Pool Party this Saturday starting from 3 PM to 9 PM. Entry fees are 500THB with one complimentary drink included.

Tokyo Night at MIXX (Saturday, June 1)

With a combo of the ‘Tokyo Drift’ song (from Fast & Furious 3) and the neon street lights from downtown Tokyo, Tokyo Night Party at MIXX Discotheque Bangkok is bringing Japan to Bangkok! The party takes off at 10 PM, keeping us alive until 5 AM. Get ready for this exclusive party, let’s get our drift on!

MILD Concert at Wine Bridge Plus (Saturday, June 1)

Featuring their top-chart songs like ‘Love sick’ and ‘Sayonara’, the Thai pop-band is hosting a live concert this Saturday at Wine Bridge Plus –a popular and long-standing live music bistro and pub in Ploenchit area. Starting from 9 PM until late, the pre-sale tickets are 400THB. Don’t miss your chance to get the lovesick feels together!

La Vida Kinky at Kika Bangkok (Sunday, June 2)

What would be a better place to spend your lazy Sunday evening than Kika Bangkok–a Mediterranean-style open-air bar and restaurant, located right in the heart of Silom. This place is known to be a gender-free community where both straight and LGBT people would gather and enjoy all the lighthearted drag shows and live music bands together. The event is between 5 PM until 2 AM the next morning, with complimentary drinks between 6 and 7 PM, on the occasion of the venue’s one-year anniversary.

Hall of Fan Concert – Heart Break Company (Sunday, June 2)

A concert series event hosted by the GMM Grammy record label that gathers artists from various genres, whether it be pop, rock, or indie. This Sunday’s concept, however, features the ‘Heart Break’ theme, presenting singers Kacha, MEAN, and Max Jenmana. Tickets are priced at 399THB and the show starts from 5 PM and goes on until late.
