Papy Pengo and his band are the latest hottest export arriving from Kinshasa, DR Congo.Kinshasa - home to world's most renowned Congolese rumba artists like Koffi Olomide (Quartier Latin), Fally Ipupa, Ferre Gola as well as one of the greats like the late Papa Wemba - in which Papy Pengo grew up amongst music poets and masters of the trade.

His latest album Awaken - Energie Renouvelable derived from getting up after one has fallen, finding energy to start afresh, become inspired about life being more than one could ever expect. Hardships create opportunities - hope becomes the guide.
