What's up

NUMAN started as a bedroom solo project of Numan Naveed, guitarist of The Rocket Whale promoter of Thailand’s Math Rock Appreciation initiative. Although several solo albums were released under NUMAN over a decade, Home is a Person is the first record that is completely recorded and performed as a three-piece band. Borrowing influences from mid-west emo and UK math rock, the sound captures a gleeful or at times sombre tone of instrumental music. A former drummer of The Rocket Whale and a bassist borrowed from a post-rock genre make this trio a unique combination that share similar affinities for complex instrumental no-fringes rock.
