JABCHAI showcases thesis projects by seniors majoring in Thai sculpture and Thai painting at Poh-Chang Academy of Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology, Rattanakosin. “Jabchai'' refers to a hodge-podge, a mix of incongruous elements, as embodied in the assortment of works that spans traditional and contemporary Thai art and intermingles the contrapuntal sensibilities, life experiences and interests of each of the young artists. Out of singular worldviews, techniques, styles arises works of a refreshing originality that also uphold the principles and beauty of Thailand’s artistic heritage.
Savor the talent and brilliance of these young artists in “JABCHAI”, open 10 – 23 April 2023 at RCB Galleria 3, 2nd floor of River City Bangkok.
