Until a couple of years ago Soi 11 enjoyed a vibrant street and cheap food scene, but as the rents increased and the Soi gentrified, street food and cheap eats mostly moved on, leaving a huge void. There are currently very few decent street food options in the area, although a strong demand from both locals and tourists still exists on the Soi. As the old shop houses continue to be demolished and more soulless condo towers are built, we decided something had to be done! So, we’re bringing back the street into the Soi 11 food scene. Our new venue, which we’re calling, Market Rooftop (yes, it’s on a rooftop, but we’re not telling you where just yet!) will offer both an extensive selection of Thai and international street food. But we’re not stopping there, our new urban venue needed more than just food carts and cheap plastic stools, so we’ve gone all out and created something rather special. We call it our ‘Urban Sanctuary’, the architecture, street art, music and of course our bar, along with the aromas of street food sizzling, create a unique lifestyle venue. A place to meet, hang out and enjoy the things that make life worth living – delicious cheap eats, great friends, lots of booze and tapping your feet to killer beats. Early 2019, Soi 11 will be reinvented. We are currently looking for truly amazing street food operators.
